Generational gaps in the modern age mostly refer to the perceived gap of the younger population with their older predecessors, they are generally characterized by a differences in exhibited tastes, actions, perspectives, and beliefs. The purpose of understanding the generational gaps for an organization, is to understand the variety of the potential individuals that you will be working with, and understanding where their perspectives are coming from, and how you can anticipate a potential thought pattern or decision making.
